Workplace Injury Reporting

Upstate Medical University prioritizes safe workplaces. Work-related injuries or illnesses may occur despite best efforts, making you eligible for workers' compensation benefits.

You may be eligible for workers' compensation benefits if you have suffered a workplace injury or illness. Workers' compensation benefits provide protection for employees relative to medical expenses and loss of salary resulting from an occupational injury or illness. Essential protection is provided under the Workers' Compensation Law.  If you have any questions, please contact the Human Resources Benefits office at 315-464-4945.

What to do if you sustained a work-related injury or illness
